Cake in a Mug
Small yet scrummy! Put down the tablet, pick up a spoon and get baking!
Ingredients
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 2 pinches of salt
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
How To
Sift flour, cocoa and salt into a bowl, stir through brown sugar. In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, butter and vanilla. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir with a fork till just combined. Spoon into two cups and microwave on high for approx.
90 seconds, or until pudding has risen and top set. Dust with extra cocoa powder. Wait to let them cool a little and then dive in!
For a little extra indulgence why not top your cake with melted chocolate bits or a swirl of caramel sauce.
