We all need a lil something..

A new look café has opened its doors at Taupō Airport, bringing a taste of something special to travellers. Lil Something is the new venture from the team behind the buzz-worthy Spa Thermal Park coffee kiosk of the same name. The new airport café, which was formally known as Feast Café, serves up all the same delicious coffee, snacks, and drinks as the original kiosk, as well as a selection of craft beers, wine and fresh food.

Lil Something was founded by Casey Brunsdon who wanted to create a space where people could come together and enjoy good coffee and food. The kiosk quickly became a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, and Brunsdon decided to expand the business to bring their popular offering to even more people around Taupō. Besides the new airport location, Lil Something has their original kiosk nestled by the tranquil Otumuheke Stream swim spot.

Strategically placed in the airport’s departures area, the café is a convenient pitstop for travellers to refuel pre-flight. But it’s not just the travellers; locals have found their new hangout spot for casual meetups, quick bites, or sending off loved ones. The café is open every day, and you don’t need a boarding pass to enjoy their offerings; everyone’s invited!

The team at Lil Something are passionate about providing quality food and service, and they are committed to making the airport cafe a warm and welcoming place for everyone. The menu features all the classics, as well as some more unique items. Try a local taste with a craft beer from Lakeman Brewery or Ruapehu Brewing. A great selection of local retail is also on show.

In the mood for a delectable treat before your journey or just craving a good coffee moment? Swing by Lil Something Airport Café. You won’t be disappointed!
