Enterprise Great Lake Taupō has recently launched www.Taupo.Jobs – an online portal dedicated to assisting local employers find new staff whilst also providing plenty of information and support for those looking to move to Taupō for work.
Some of the job roles on the website are promoted via social media, digital advertising and radio campaigns to attract applicants, providing employers with an opportunity to put their job advert in front of people who may otherwise never see it. Employers can list a job for free at any stage.
A series of national marketing to encourage job-seekers to check out the website is underway, with more than 60,000 people engaging in the digital adverts after the first week.
With an estimated 1,600 brand new additional jobs to be created in the Taupō district over the next five years, we expect to see more and more people moving here for both lifestyle and career.
