Established in Taupō for more than 20 years, Kip McGrath Taupō has helped hundreds of local children and adults in a wide range of learning including schoolwork, literacy and numeracy.
At Kip McGrath, we know what works for your child’s learning and have a wealth of experience and resources to draw from to support it. We provide tuition for all ages, from the occasional 4-year-old to year 13 students, and even help with adult literacy.
With a focus on supporting classroom learning, building confidence and encouraging students to succeed with their schoolwork, we at Kip McGrath aim to make school life easier. We work with the New Zealand curriculum, so your child gets the most out of what they learn. Extension is available for students who are high achievers. The programme is customised to your child’s learning and tailored to what they need to learn.
At Kip McGrath, we work with small groups of students, providing a relaxed environment that is personalised with plenty of individual interaction. Sessions are held at 3.30pm and 5pm every weekday. All sessions are taught by qualified and experienced tutors. Parents are kept informed with regular feedback and progress reports, while the students go through a more formal assessment every six months, to measure their accumulated progress.
