Just over 12 months ago, NZ Riverjet owner Nick Berryman decided to expand his operation and take NZ Riverjet to the next level.
In the past year, the company has doubled the number of employees, introduced world-leading technology including Taupō-based Eye-fly and grown their sales by over a quarter of a million dollars.

Unique New Zealand Experience
NZ Riverjet boasts two of the country’s most unique tours, ‘The Squeeze’ and ‘Orakei Korako’. Both 2.5 hours long and divided into 3 sections, start with a one hour scenic cruise down the mighty Waikato River and through the stunning Tutukau Gorge. Along the way you can take in incredible wildlife, geothermal activity, hot pools, geysers and remarkable scenery, with the guides providing a commentary on the local Maori history and formation of the landscape.
You can then choose to visit either Orakei Korako, rated by Lonely Planet as one of the Top 5 geothermal parks in the world, or venture in to The Squeeze, a mystical destination which includes a walk through an ancient canyon, then on to a geothermal waterfall and hot pool.
Finally, it’s time for the adrenaline-filled, fast paced thrill ride back to base. Reaching speeds of up to 90km/h, the team of highly trained and skilled drivers leave their guests with an unforgettable Kiwi jet boat experience.
