Make Your Own Miniature Christmas Tree

Christmas Day is on its way, so while you’re waiting for Santa to arrive, why not turn detective and spot our festive gems, then pretty up a pinecone and dish up something cool!

Who says Christmas trees have to be tall to shine? Not us! Here’s a wee project to make the perfect tabletop tree for your bedroom or classroom.

What you’ll need:

  • A hot glue gun (remember to play it safe when using this)
  • Small pinecone
  • Paint brush
  • Green acrylic paint
  • Small plastic bottle lid
  • Assorted glitter beads or baubles

  1. Take your paint brush and paint your cones green. Leave to dry.
  2. Glue your glittery beads onto the pinecone tips.
  3. Finally, place a dot of glue in the base of the plastic lid and fix your pinecone in place.
  4. Your pinecone Christmas tree is complete!
