Kiwanis: Making a world of difference on our doorstep

No, it’s not an extinct relative of the Kiwi. Kiwanis is in fact an active, community-based service club in the heart of Taupo. This hardworking bunch gather forces on a mission to create a better future for children, young people and communities worldwide.
Kiwanis International is a global organisation with the goal of ‘serving the children of the world’. With more than 8000 clubs over the world, many smaller communities have the opportunity of being a part of the big picture.
As part of the wider Kiwanis group, Kiwanis Taupo service the local community – marshalling at events like the Ironman and the Taupo Harriers. Recently the team renewed the garden at Taupo Hospital and sent resources to help school kids in Vanuatu.

Become a part of young lives
The group would love to grow its Taupo club and strengthen its impact worldwide, one child and one community at a time. As a Kiwanis member, you’ll be part of a global organisation and directly involved in opportunities to change young people’s lives.
